University Honors Program

Required for University Honors Program applicants. Answer the following prompt.

Prompt 1350 words

Many FSU Honors students pursue double majors — often in completely different fields — to enrich their academic experience. If you could choose two majors offered at FSU from different departments, what would they be and why? Design an Honors Signature Course that explores a topic or issue at the intersection of these two majors. Name the course and provide a brief (2–3 sentence) description for the website. Describe the learning outcomes for students in the class, highlighting the personal and academic benefits of the course. Propose a course assignment that connects students with a campus resource, faculty member, or organization to enhance their hands-on learning experience.
